Brief Summary

Robert Briggs has researched and taught in a wide range of areas across the humanities, including media and communication studies, literary studies, cultural studies, creative and professional writing, journalism, philosophy and ethics.

He is co-editor of the International, fully refereed online journal Ctrl-Z: New Media Philosophy, which he founded with Niall Lucy in 2011. He has published numerous articles on post-structuralism, cultural criticism, popular culture, and is co-editor of "Manufacturing Consent?", a special issue of Southern Review (2005). His work has appeared in Angelaki, Cultural Studies Review, Social Semiotics, Environmental Ethics, CTheory and many other international journals of philosophy, literature and culture.
