Brief Summary

I received BSc and MSc degrees from Brigham Young University (USA) in 2009 and 2011, respectively and completed a PhD in 2014 at the University of St Andrews (UK). After an 18 month postdoc at the NERC Isotope Geosciences Laboratory (UK), I joined the Department of Applied Geology after Curtin in 2015 to commence a five year Curtin Early Career Research Fellowship.

Research Interests

I am primarily interested in the evolution of orogenic systems, growth and evolution of continental crust, and collisional tectonics. The research tools I use to address geologic questions include field mapping, structural geology, metamorphic petrology, geothermobarometry, isotope geochemistry, and zirconology (U-Pb, Hf, O, REE, etc).
