Brief Summary

Charlotte completed her undergraduate degree at Durham University (U.K.) and PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy (Germany). She was a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at ASTRON (The Netherlands) before moving to Perth to commence a joint Research Associate position at the Curtin Institute of Radio Astronomy and CSIRO Astronomy and Space Science.

Charlotte has expertise in pulsar studies, including magnetospheric phenomena and using pulsars as probes of the magneto-ionised interstellar medium. Her focus is on using next-generation low-frequency radio telescopes, including the Low Frequency Array in Europe and the Murchison Widefield Array in Australia, to further magnetic field research, and particularly to study the 3-D structure of the Galactic magnetic field.
